Our social meets-ups are relaxed gatherings where trans and gender diverse individuals can meet and connect in social settings. These meet-ups are typically held at bars, cafes and parks, with a TPA representative hosting the event. Many of our social meet-ups welcome allies of the community. We also host weekly online meetups for those members who are in regional areas or otherwise feel unable to attend live events.

Our community events are predominantly held in Sydney, and we’re working toward producing events in other states. Please get in touch if you’re looking at co-producing an event.

For anyone outside of NSW, please see our Online Hangouts as a channel for community connection.

Many of our events invite all trans and gender diverse people, including members, non-members, and those new to TPA, no matter where you are in their journey of self-discovery and affirmation.

Some of our events are exclusive to trans and gender diverse individuals, and others welcome allies of the community, including bio or chosen family and friends. In addition, we also host events that engage and support groups such as parents and partners to the trans and gender diverse community. For event information such as who can attend, age classifications, and invited groups, we encourage you to look at the individual events on this page.

REVIEWS FROM LAST NIGHT'S PERFORMANCE OF 'OVERFLOW ' FROM COMMUNITY......ENDS 25TH OF SEPTEMBER

“Phenomenal play! I went last night, I was mesmerised by the performance, they really get it. The theatre itself and the staff and exceptionally trans friendly as well"
‘It was an incredible performance by Janet Anderson last night. Such a clever script delivered by a true professional. Inspirational, harrowing, thought provoking. This show is both affirming and questioning. Posing top quandaries to its audience around belonging, judgement and ownership.See it if u can.Very switched on staff and venue.Very impressed with the whole night’"
"WOW, a really wonderful theatre experience, I loved everything about this play, Janet Anderson is a revelation. You simply have to get along to the Eternity Theatre to see this."
"Great production all round. A very welcoming and warm place. And the show certainly expressed the ‘overflow’ of emotions us transpeople can experience….From fantastic and fabulous to fear and fright…."
"Loved the funny snippets about the ladies room being a happy space - getting psychological services and ‘pep talks’ ! A great bit about the women’s room I’ll remember! So many facets to consider from the show, on many fronts. A great script and exceptional performance"
